While nice and a great bargain, they were too big. I did keep them as I will just wrap my finger a little bit.

Metal thimble

Nice, sturdy thimble. I bought the large because all others I have bought were too small. This one is truly a large, but it works. Waiting for medium size to be back in stock.

John James Quilter's Top Thimble - Size Large

I love these thimbles for hand quilting. I use them on my hand thats on the top of the quilt so that when I am pushing the needle thru it does not slip off of the thimble because it has a nice lifted edge. The thimbles that I use on my hand for the bottom I prefer to not have the ridge so that I can push the needle back up to the top of the quilt. Waiting for the Medium size to be in stock as this is to big for my middle finger so I put a rubber thimble under it to hold it in place.
