Kaleidoscope from Quilted Fox Designs offers instructions to make this colorful quilt from half-square triangles. The finished size of the quilt shown is 44” x 60”, and the pattern also includes instructions for making a 36” x 36” quilt. For either size, just add more borders to make a larger quilt.

Just what I needed as a beginner to make my first table runner.

Confusing to say the least.

As an experienced quilter of 25 years, I must say this is the most confusing pattern regarding cutting. Nowhere does it give instructions about how you get 4 1/2 inch half square triangles out of a 10 inch layer cake piece. The instruction show you just cut it in half after stitching down the centerline before you trim it to 4 1/2 inches.. It lead you to believe you were only going to get 2 half square triangles out of each 10 inch block. I found the instructions lacking in detail. The charts...
