Blue gingko leaves atop blue dotted curving paths on a dark blue background. Sew unique! Debbie Maddy’s hand-dyed cloth led to the birth of Kawa, her new collection for Moda Fabrics. Inspired by Japanese Shibori dyeing, these gorgeous indigo and rust prints include gingko leaves, chevrons, diamonds, and more. You’ll love sewing with these lovely, one-of-a-kind fabrics!
The fabric was just as I expected. Debbie Maddy is one of my favorite fabric designers and I'm never disappointed. This is for the border of something I am currently working on.

Great Fabric!
Scale is larger than I anticipated. The large ginko leaves are just over 3 1/2" long from the tip of the stem to the tip of the leaf. And how to measure the wavy curves behind the leaves? Top of one wave to the top of the next is 3". It looks like batik, but it is printed fabric. Very pretty.

Just what I was looking for
I am making a Japanese quilt for my husband's 80th birthday and needed a traditional print. This one works well. Good quality and color. I preshrank it because others in my compilation had to be for color fastness. It actually looked even better.
