50 WT COTTON THREAD PACK, Primary & Secondary colors

The spool of blue thread had a burr on the plastic spool. It would catch the thread resulting in irregular stitches. But worse, THE THREAD WAS BROKEN! Could see the ends sticking up as soon as wrapper removed. How did this pass inspection? It was Saturday evening. I chose to work with the thread rather than wait until Monday morning. The other 5 spools look ok. The other spools will determine if I use Missouri Star cotton thread again.
