Lucky Penny Wallet Kit - Garden Party Cork

The Lucky Penny Wallet was a fun project to make with great results. I purchased the precut kit which made it much easier. I made a second wallet, although I was careful how I cut it out, it was not as precise. I added a zipper in the lower pocket of my second wallet. I discovered how easy cork is to sew and love the results. My girlfriends are all in in, wanting to order a kit and make their own version. A great group sewing project.

First of all, this cork fabric is just beautiful. The wallet was an easy and fun sew. Lots of youtube tutorials to show you everything you need to know along with great written instructions as well.

This wallet was so easy! I love how soft it is. I worried that it wouldn’t be big enough for everything from my big wallet, but it all fit perfectly and is so light. I put the strap on this one, but will try the clasp on next one.

I cannot believe how this feels in your hand, just like leather, and so light!

I watched the tutorial on Missouri Star Quilt's Youtube channel and followed it while reading the instructions. It was so easy, very ease to sew, came out perfectly and I am using it all the time now. It is perfect for organizing your credit cards and ID card. Might get another one soon.

Love this kit. It was very easy to make and makes a beautiful wallet. This is the first time i have worked with cork and it was very simple. Makes me want to use cork for other things too.

The kit comes with everything you need. Love the cork color.
