Luxe Cuddle Heather Clementine

I really like working with the Luxe Cuddle line. Heather Clementine is the perfect orange for those halloween quilts. Don't shy away from these fabrics! They are easier to work with than Minky. Yes there still is 'fluff', but it is easily brought under control with packing tape, or lint brush, or a small hand vac. First thing, straighten the top, and add a "leader" of cotton fabric the width of the fabric . (Could be up to 64" wide). Machine baste, and repeat for the bottom. As I prefer to have...

Surprisingly easy to sew

used for quilt backing - daughter LOVES it. So does the cat. Surprisingly easy to sew on as backing. Slides well on the machine "bed" when doing your top/sandwich stitching.
