Mia Bag Kit - Evergreen Basket Weave Faux Leather

Thank you for the kit - it had everything I needed to make the super cute Mia bag by Sallie Tomato. The tutorial Jenny and Jessica put together was perfectly paced and I was able to make my first Mia bag in one afternoon. I'm hooked on bag making, who knew it would be so easy! (And I think this bag is pretty cute for my 65-year-old self!) Thanks Jessica and Jenny!

I just finished this kit this afternoon. I switched out the fabric, and I love it. It's my first purse, but there will be more. I've bought a couple more of Sallie Tomato kits and can't wait to get the next one made.

I chose this pattern to make after finally healing from hand surgery. I ordered the bag and watched the tutorial, or it might be the other way around, and was so excited to get started. It turned out almost perfect. After finishing installing the zipper, I sewed the top of the bag fabric around the zipper a quarter inch which should have been an eighth inch. But all in all, I really enjoyed the project and the result, and hope yo make some more of these bags. I think I will sew a flap to go...

I love this pattern. This was my third. Very nice look and simple to put together.

I learned to sew on faux leather. It was very easy. I loved the bag. Made it in one day. Loved the discounted price as well.

My sister made one last summer and it was beautiful. Thought I’d give it a try. She suggested to cut it a tiny bit bigger.

This was fun trying something different was out of my comfort zone but I followed the YouTube video and it was really fun thanks, a little small for my daughters wallet but she says she will still use it.
