Turns out too small. Limiting the zipper 8 inches really limits the size. It’s a lot of work and effort for the size. The fabric and hardware quality was excellent. You needed pattern and video because she never says how many inches or markings.

I am so very happy I decided to order this purse kit when I saw the announcement about Sallie Tomato purses , 6 purses in 6 months . I have always wanted to make a purse . I have bought patterns but never did make the bag . This tutorial was wonderful . I felt like I was in a class instead of watching it on my computer . I just ordered the Miranda kit and am so looking forward to month two of purse making !

I've never made a bag like this before. It was easy to follow the instructions in the video and the paperwork I want to make another one now!!

I have made purses before but I found this to be a little difficult. Now that both of them are complete I think if I made another I would enjoy it more.
