Missouri Star Cardinal Button Design Pack

Finished two, working on another! Also made two of your wreath button kits…..love them all!

My initial enthusiasm quickly waned as I began this project. Even with the markings on the fabric, it was hard to stay on track. Constantly having to refer to the reference sheet (which was well done) was time consuming and made it even harder for me to focus on the placement. The further I got along, the more difficult it became to find the placement of the buttons. Honestly, I was about 3/4 finished when I decided I was really not enjoying the process and give it up. I got the buttons sorted and finally selected a background. The project is not as intimidating once you get started. I plan to frame mine with some small quilt blocks to make a a small wall hanging that can stay up all year if I want.

The cardinal is a beautiful reminder of those I've loved & lost, especially during the holiday season. Look forward to making this.

I’m planning on making this for my father, who is 102 years young, for Christmas. He loves cardinals. They hold a very special meaning in his heart. Can’t wait to give it to him this Christmas

I haven’t completed it yet but feel MSQ products usually seem to be better with directions, i.e. a pattern printed on fabric would be easier to follow than using a template and marking pencil

I got it for a gift. The recipient seemed pleased, she loves cardinals. It seemed like a pretty nice kit.

I haven't made this yet, but I love the design. I always try to incorporate buttons in my projects. This is great and I don't have to buy more buttons!
