Mystery Block of the Month Kit by Missouri Star Quilt Co.

I received the Hearth and Home Month 7 BOM that I think is from 2018...a Toby Lischo block of the month. I can't even find any other information about this older BOM on the internet. I did receive 7 different fabrics with 4 of them being fat eighths, 2 fat quarters and some yardage to make the block and some other tidbits that were to be used in future BOM for this set. I enjoy receiving the mystery block of the month packets as I order them frequently. I love the challenge that they provide me because I use them as inspiration and focus blocks for wall hangings and table runners that I would not have created otherwise.

I have been adding mystery blocks to my collection of future products. All of them that I have received appear to be of excellent quality. I love creating new things and getting creative with patterns. I’m still working on the puzzle quilt and have decided to make it a king size quilt, so I am working on finishing the border strips and putting it together. I also have to bind the previous quilt. I have ordered and received 3 and have 3 more on the way. I have ordered them for the specific purpose of practicing my quilting by hand, in the hoop on my embroidery machine and free motion on both my Husqvarna Viking machines, the Opal and Topaz. Knowing this going into it there can be NO disappointment and everything is usable. So going into it I can honestly say I personally love them all. I absolutely love the mystery block of the month! I have ordered 3, and they are all beautiful. Some I will make the block, some I will use the fabric for something else. It's fun to get fabric that you didn't pick yourself. It takes me out of my "comfort zone",

I ordered several of these and I'm pleased by the variety. The ones I received look like I can incorporate them into the same quilt. One has precut applique pieces, others have interesting fabric to create blocks. One was a bit confusing but the fabric will be useful. It looks to be fabric for sashing the entire quilt. However, the pattern with it will work with items in my stash. These will make a great winter project. The price is worth the risk and I'm happy with what I received.

I received over a yard of beautiful Merlot solid fabric. Very pleased with the mystery. I can use this in a variety of projects.

I love the variety I received. This will help me learning new blocks to create since I'm new to quilting.
