Mystery Layer Cake

Excellent fabric. I was pleasantly surprised at what a nice fabric line it was; it’s something I would have picked out myself. First time I ever purchased a mystery fabric from any company. I would definitely do it again from Missouri Star.

My mystery Layer Cake was a flannel set featuring bunnies - all in neutral tones of caramel and cream. Can be paired and accented with browns, golds and warm greys. So many options. Plus, who doesn't love bunnies.? Will make wonderful baby and kids' quilts. Now I just need to find time to make them Thank you Missouri Star employee who chose this pack for me.

My layer caje was a total surprise. The colors , in swirls, went from muted shades to bold and stark. It went from white to pink, to bold magenta then from baby blue to crayola blue to deep rich royal blues. To show iffvevert but of color, i chose to use the pattern called Double Slice

I've gotten a great layer cake! It's an Elizabeth Hartmann line that has great colors and is just the inspiration for a project I didn't know I needed! I was hoping I didn't get something that wasn't my style and this is just perfect.

I received batiks, which I have never used. They’re gorgeous and were an excellent deal. I’ve had a lot of fun looking for a pattern to use them in. Can’t wait to get started once I get some background fabric.

Not impressed thinking of giving it to the goodwill

Mystery. More like a wonderful surprise. Every time. It’s always something I can use or even wanted. Something I didn’t know I wanted or at the very least a great stash builder turning into something I didn’t know I needed, but glad that I had it available. I love MSQC mysteries! Such a treat. So go ahead, treat yourself!

Blue is one of my favorites! I use a lot of blue in quilting projects especially when I'm making Patriotic/Valor quilts. This layer cake will come in very handy!

Turned out to be shades of white perfect for background piecing.

Never quite sure what you are going to get, but always high quality! I've been very pleased with my mystery layer cakes.
