Quilter's End of Bolt Box

I, as never before, didn’t hesitate to purchase this box as I’m in love with 75% of the fabrics on the site. The box arrived and it appears that is mostly a box of unsold and unwanted fat quarters. Though I didn’t expect to like them all, there are only four fabrics that I can actually use. The rest are all about rocks, Hawaiian prints, animal prints, ugly solids , glittery unicorns … I paid $99 for this disappointment.

I love it!! There were numerous fabrics from solids to prints. And, the fabrics are so colorful. I assume that all EOB boxes are different. But just know, I received 46 pieces of fabrics. All of which, are great sizes!! Sweet 🩷

I love this box! I love that the fabric pieces are almost all pretty good size. There was only one or two colors I didn’t really care for out of the whole box, but even with them I think I can use them somewhere. I am pretty sure I will be ordering this again. Thank you so much!

I purchased the box when it was a special $99 deal. I was happy with the amount of fabric in the box but disappointed that 95% was not the high quality fabric that I purchase from MSQC and used to see in the unboxing videos. I will use most of the fabric and donate the rest and will probably try the box again if it's a good deal but honestly it seems like they (MSQC) are trying to dump fabric from Joann's and Walmart by putting in the end of bolt boxes and putting in special. Wow Team! Being an international customer (from New Zealand), I'm always a bit concerned buying "mystery" anything when I can't see exactly what I'm getting. I opened my box with a bit of trepidation (remembering the time I online ordered a nightgown size 16 and I couldn't fit both arms in it let alone the rest of my body - I'm a regular size 14 by the way :) ). Anyways, I digress .... my trepidation was for nought ... I loved every folded bit of fabric and there was so much! I felt like I got...

Received almost 24 yards of fabric. Most pieces were 1/2 yard; a few were a full yard. One piece was six inches and that was the smallest. The "worst" piece was a partial panel, but even that can be fussy cut so it's still useful. Will definitely buy again the next time I need to build up my stash.

This is the 4th Mystery Box I have purchased, and this one was absolutely horrible. I received 4 scraps of Batik Fabric that was very wrinkled, and after ironing them, they ran between 5 to 6 inches wide down to less than 3 inches wide down to 2 inches wide. The vast majority of the pieces were between one eighth yard and one quarter yard. The ONLY fair-sized lengths of fabric were of a TWILL fabric that I would not use in quilts. The other absolutely awful piece of fabric I received was 17...

Did one of these with a batik mystery box. 1 yard cuts were short by at least an inch, and over 5 yards of the fabric sent was one print, another 4.5 was another print. Actual measurements on this box was 19.25 yards and not 20. The rest was all smaller pieces, which I didn't mind. At $100, I would not do this again.

For the last 50 years of my sewing journey I've wanted to order an end-of -bolt box. Mine arrived a couple have days ago weighing 7.9 pounds. There were 38 pieces of fabric ranging from 9" to one at 36". Most were 18 inches. In total there was 391" of fabric or 36 yards so the cost was approx $4.98 per yard. So, in my opinion I would be better off to select the styles/colors of fabrics I need and purchase those at a higher price per yard. I could also select the length I needed. I quilt, make...

Oh I was so happy the day the mystery box arrived. And I was even more pleased when I opened it and went through its contents. YES ! so many beautiful colors, prints and styles. So many of them have co-ordinating playmates. I can't wait to use them . I mostly make baby quilts and children's quilts but I like to be brave in using unexpected fabrics in them too.
