Olfa Splash 24" x 36" Cutting Mat Navy

Love this mat. Fabrics seem to cut easier and cleaner. So far no ruts.

This is a Christmas gift for my sister who is getting into quilting again. (We aren’t celebrating Christmas until Jan22). So much has changed since she quit quilting 20+ years ago. You have to have one of these to quilt nowadays!

Since making my first quilt, I have yearned for a larger mat and this year I received this one for Christmas (it was on one of my wish lists). I haven't actually used it, yet, because of the really strong odor (similar, I think, to hot motor oil). It's been a few days since first opening the cardboard wrapping and I still can smell it when entering my sewing room...although not nearly as much, thank goodness! Perhaps some clever science-y type of person at the factory will figure out a way to...

I like it a lot good quality. It’s taking just a little to get used to the color but I’m happy with it.
