Olfa Splash 6" x 8" Cutting Mat Navy

Recently needed to make a quick overnight trip to Dad's, but lamented the time I would lose to work on my first quilting project in years. I didn't want to haul a big mat and ruler, so I threw this mat, my rotary cutter, 6" square and about 2 dozen half square triangles in a gallon zip lock bag to take with me. Handy to use by sewing machine

This is my first 6x8 cutting mat. This little mat is great for may things cutting tiny scraps for paper piecing, making cards when detail is everything. Take it on the road with the Missouri 2.5x8 ruler and the Clover Threaded Needle case. You'll be set when you needle them for your needle projects.

I like to work with small mats when I am cutting smaller pieces. I worn out one of my small mats and since this was a really good price, I got it. I will use it a lot.

The mat works great on a lot of darker materials and is easy to read.

I like having these small cutting mats handy when I sew if I need to cut something with my rotary cutter. The blue color is different and fun. Such a useful notion.

This will work very well for traveling and cutting my smaller strips.

I use this next to my machine while working on paper piecing or when doing lots of small cuts. I like the small size and it saves some wear on my larger mats and rotating mat!
