Numbering Should be Different!

While I love the ability to fold this ruler to take with me to classes or sewing get togethers, the decision to not make the numbering keep in order (1-24 inches) when extended, is a bad choice. Unfolding the ruler to the full 24 inches and then having to translate that the marking is 14 inches instead of the marked 22 is not helpful. Made me even wonder if I got a damaged ruler :). Whomever designed this does not understand how a 6x24 ruler is meant to be used.
