Over and Down Under Pattern

This was a very fun pattern to use. The directions were straightforward enough for me to understand and I had a lot of fun making it up. I gave the one I made as a gift and now I’m making another one for myself. The woven effect and all the arrows were so fun!

Love this pattern. Purchased it along with lambies grey and pastels jelly roll. Quilt for my granddaughter’s Christmas this year. I will also use some strips from a Country garden. More springtime.

Love the pattern! Directions are clear and it makes sense. I ordered the suggested jelly roll of fabrics. But the colors are not the same at all. I got grays and blacks and no browns like in the picture so I’m a little disappointed with that. But it’ll still make a pretty quilt.

I made this pattern a few years ago, then thinking I would probably not make it again, gave it to a friend who admired my quilt. I used a strip set of Hoffman watercolor batiks, Gemstone. It was beautiful! So now I am replacing the pattern and have every intention of repeating it in more batiks. It does take a lot of table space to lay out the center squares.

Have been trying to source this pattern for a long time. Quilt is almost finished.

I was amazed at how fast the pattern arrived! I haven’t started it yet but the instructions look easy to follow.

If it isn’t very difficult, it will be fun to make.
