Quilters Select™ Free Fuse for Quilters Select

When quilting smaller items, getting flat layers has always been a challenge. I pin or spray and it is either too messy or not the result I hoped for. Free Fuse sprinkles on like salt and stays where you put it. I needed to work in stages to fit my project on my ironing board but that was not a problem. I did both machine (boarders) and hand quilting (outlining) on this wall hanging and I was pleased at how they both turned out! I will definitely use this again.

I have used this on several quilts and love it! The latest quilt was a 63"×63" quilt. Works wonderfully and not nearly as messy as spray baste or painful as pins that stick me.

I love it. It has made my machine quilting look so much better. I have only used it on baby quilts but I am going to try it on a lap size quilt this week.

Absolutely amazing!! Easy to use and a little goes a long way. I use this to make zipper pouches, project bags, fabric ornaments and everything else in between. Will definitely be getting more when it runs out!! Yes, it’s slightly pricey but it works better than anything I’ve used. There’s no fumes and and you can control exactly where it goes.

I followed the direction, but didn't seem to get the bond they talk about

Forgive my title to this review BUT that's the way I feel about Free Fuse. No puckers, no unwanted tucks just the ease of holding backing, batting and tops together.

Much easier and better for fusing material. No mess!

Disappointed. I was excited to order and receive the Free Fuse. I used it after watching the video on YouTube a couple of times. It does bond, but it left "salt dust" everywhere. It leached thru the fabric so I was constantly covered in it everytime I handled my quilt. I did not use a lot. In fact, I used it very sparingly. I'm going back to spray basting. 1st time I've been disappointed by anything from Missouri Star. I'm a huge fan and love the tutorials. It's just this particular product....

No spraying!

I like that it fuses without residue or odor, but it's hard to determine if I got enough on as the fabric was a very light blue (baby), so it didn't adhere in all spots. Will try it on another item later to see if its easier with a darker fabric.
