This iron rocks!

Been wanting this iron for a few years. MSQC had 1 and I snatched it up. It is awesome so far. Ironed 10 84” curtain panels the 1st day, lol so it got a workout. No regrets. Awesome irons make ironing pleasurable.

Reliable Velocity

I think the performance of this steam iron is extremely good! However, the sound indicator is atrocious whenever it turns off/on/or indicates readiness. Terrible sound!

Annoying

This iron makes a lot of noise. It tells you when you haven't touched it in about 5 minutes and then 5 minutes later it tells you that it will shut down. It's always making noise. When sewing, that kind of timing is not possible. I also find that it collects fabric dust where the soleplate separates from the iron. It builds up quickly and then drops it all over whatever you are pressing. The iron itself is a nice weight though. Had I known it was so annoying with the noise, I would have bought...

Lots of steam

So far so good---lots of steam and no spitting---the iron works great on 100 % cotton fabric. It only gets up to 338 degrees, so does not work well on linen. My 20 year old Proctor-Silex iron gets up to 450 degrees in a couple of minutes, but can only be used dry.
