End of Bolt Box by Robert Kaufman

Very disappointed with my purchase. The description said Robert Kaufman fabrics which I took to mean quilting fabrics. The box included 18 non-cotton fabrics of poor quality. Also included 4 Dr. Suess Christmas fabrics. Many had no manufacturer on the salvage. I have seen others on You Tube open their boxes and find lovely quilting fabrics. I have complained about this purchase with no resolution.

I got all excited and bought this on sale. It is exactly as described- 25-half-yard cuts. Unfortunately, none of the cuts (colors) go together. 2 cuts are flannel and 1 cut is homespun and I don’t use either for quilting. Another cut is a panel that was cut in half, lengthwise, right down the middle, which renders it useless for pretty much anything. I will use these for scrappy quilts.

Very disappointed. I read Robert Kaufman end of bolt and thought, I love Kaufman fabric. I can use this for my scrappy quilts and half yards are perfect for variety. Well, not so much...these were some heavy weaves, some glittery crafts, some thin garment fabrics. Not at all what I would have considered suitable for quilting and afterall, the company does say Missouri Star QUILT co. Live and learn...no more mysterys for me.

Somewhat disappointed at the number of fabrics that were not “quilting” types. Waste of time sending me those. I’ve only purchased fabric for quilting from your warehouse.

Robert Kaufman fabrics are probably my all time favorite. I couldn’t believe it when I went through the bundle. They were some of the unappealing fabrics I’ve ever seen. So much so, you could have told me the cow jumped over the moon before I believed they we Robert Kaufman fabrics.

I was really pleased with this mystery box. I especially like the fact that all of the cuts are around half a yard, so you aren’t stuck with tiny pieces that you can’t do much with. The majority of the cuts were quilting cotton, but it was fun receiving some velvet and linen blends as well.

Always fun to see what’s in a mystery end of bolt box and this time so many monotones and blenders which are the perfect addition to my stash!

Love opening the End of Bolt Box. This was my third time purchasing one. So many beautiful and fun pieces to add to my stash. Used many of the fabrics in recent projects. Definitely will buy another in the future.

They did send exactly what was in the description, however only about half was quilting fabric, 1/4 was glitzy sparkle fabrics, and the rest were gauzy types and twills. Most of the fabrics were really the odd pieces in weird colors or prints that you can't really find a use for. I was hoping for a variety of colors and mostly quilting fabrics. In fairness though to MS it they describe a variety of types of fabrics. Typically, I chose my own fabrics from MS and they are beautiful quilt fabrics...

The mystery box did not disappoint! If you're familiar with Robert Kaufman products, it is what you expect and have seen of RK, but then since you don't know what you're receiving it is a wonderful surprise. I was happy with every piece of the mystery
