Perfect to finish my Riviera/Route 66 quilt

I made a center block for a Round Robin quilt featuring our 1965 Riviera and a bit of "route 66" fabric by Alexander Henry. This fabric is no longer in print, but I had enough for the back. I took advantage of the warehouse spring cleaning sale and found this new Route 66 fabric. I hadn't seen my quilt block since August so I had no idea how I would do a final border to make a full size quilt. I had enough black scraps to pair with this fabric to do a 2" checker board.
