A little disappointed

It's adorable, hopefully I can do this. But, the white felt for Santa's hair, beard and suit cuffs is so dingy/dirty looking..,it looks like maybe this kit has been sitting around form many years. I'm hoping once it's all done I can brush it to make it look a little fresher. The pieces are too small to do anything beforehand.
