Singular Stars Book

On the plus side: The book is awesome if you are trying to be creative with your "texas star" styles. It shows and details an amazing selection of ways to modify the basic pattern. Also great - good detailed instructions on what to expect from each variation, and ideas on best color ways. Could be improved: there is a LOT of page flipping and pre-reading to follow most of the patterns, since the variations are built on each other, so you need to keep referring back to earlier or different...

Excellent diagrams instructions, and color pictures. I haven't made a quilt yet, but plan to.

I have never attempted the "Lone Star".....It's always been my Unicorn.....But I will be using this book to try to make one. Heaven Help Me. The book is filled with so many patterns and ways to accomplish this beautiful pattern in Quilts. I am just thrilled at the prospect of getting started. But I Must Finish up my Lemon Star First.

I love this book! I have not made anything from it yet, but it definitely has me dreaming about beautiful stars. I have made a couple of star quilts in the past, but this opens up so many gorgeous possibilities that I had not thought of, and she has definitely put a lot of thought and work into them.

Read the book and it was just too busy for me. My mind was going all over the place. I think it was written for more advanced quilters. Will go back when I finish two of my quilts and read it again.

My fault; just not what I had hoped for. I was looking for easier ways to make more complicated stars. This book is full of star patterns, but not my kind of easy. Always happy with my Missouri Star shipments, though!

I’m very glad I purchased this book! I’m already having fun choosing which stars to use in my next quilt and actually being able to learn to make the blocks as taught in my new Singular Stars Book!

This is a delightful collection of Line Star quilts & modifications. Easy to follow instructions.
