Beautiful, but shrinks and bleeds

Definitely prewash this. Much higher than average shrinkage. I also bought a layer cake, and presoaked them because the color bleeds so badly. In one direction, the fabric shrank a full inch on a 10-inch square! For art quilts only!

Beautiful fabric

This is a stunning line of fabric. I rate at 4 vs 5 because this fabric FRAYS terribly! Perhaps 8 should even rate it lower for that very reason as it was difficult to work with and I am concerned about how well it will hold up to use because of the fraying.
