Dark to light blue, green, red, and orange stone texture ombre. Twice a year on the solstice, the sun lines up with the arches of Stonehenge and create a mystical sight! Capture that moment in your next project with this fabric collection featuring Celtic patterns, designs, and stone textured colors.
I purchased this fabric for the backing on a National Parks quilt that I was working on. It is the more beautiful fabric. I'm tempted to have this be the front of my quilt.
I used this to back an approximate twin size quilt. It was easy to use, heavy enough for quality, and looks great with my oasis design front quilt. The top and bottom of the design are a bit dark but I was able to cut them off with my quilt size
Lightning fast arrival, well packed, arrived in great shape, high quality, this beautiful fabric . will be perfect for backing the Klimt Lake Gordo scene fabric. A wonderful, “Missouri Star” 🌟 suggested this print as a good match for the Lake Gordo fabric, and she was right! Thanks!😊

It’s a versatile backing I’ve used on a previous quilt. I work in thes colors enough that I decided to buy enough for a couple future projects. I’ll probably patchwork off cuts to get all I can from this. I prefer large solid pieced backs but….I’ve not needed to wash the previous project but I don’t anticipate problems. Love the ombré graduation of color.
I wish I could download photos. This backing is beautiful and my quilt is perfect. I love how the ombre is so rich and so gentle looks. this is the second time I have used this backing and I Highly Recommend it for your earthy-colored quilts. Shoot, I would recommend it for any quilt. Quality is as all Northcott fabric. Excellent.
The weight of this fabric is really luxurious. The colirs and variations are stunning. Two cons, though. The fibers pierce easily both hand and machine sewn which leave white runs in fabric. This fabric frays on cut edges so badly its just a nightmare to work with. Threads hanging all over and all over me and my craftroom. I just don't think I can work with it again based on those two cons.
I will use part of this as the backing for my son's quilt. I will be doing the 'King's Crown" (hand-quilted.) The remaining piece I will use as a border for the top.
