Too Small for spool of thread

I know this is for cutting thread but the shape and size appeared to be just perfect to hold a spool of thread as I hand stitch the binding on my quilts. It is adorable, but I have no spools small enough to fit in basket. Very disappointing.

Smaller than expected

This was smaller than I expected but even with that it is perfect. I can carry it with me with no problem and quickly cut my chain piecing. I like that the pins and my little scissor will stick on the side

Awesome addition to my sewing area!

I love this piece! It sits right next to my sewing machine so I can drop all my pins into it as I sew along. And the tread cutter in the handle is genius too. The rubber type bottom holds it in place so it doesn’t go sliding all over the place. I love it and would recommend it to any serious stitcher!
