Thread Mate Spool & Bobbin Pegs

I hadn’t realised that the core diameter of the spool needs to be the right size, then it works perfectly. But it doesn’t work for Aurifil spools [I have the orange ones] as that core is too big - a pity

They go in backwards vs what I would expect. The short end goes into the spool and the long end goes in the bobbin so way too much sticks out of the bobbin, making them annoying to use to me.

I was going nuts. I needed a way to organize my accumulated spools and bobbins. These pegs are the perfect answer. They fit in all of the different size spools I use. I also purchased the "Needle & Thread Spool Rack" I feel so accomplished!!! All my spools and coordinating bobbins in one place. As cute as is it is, I hung it on the inside of a closet door so the thread is not exposed to sunlight.

Did not come with good directions & their don't fit my Bernina bobbins

These pegs work great on standard spools but not on the tall spools which have a larger throat. Good purchase for the cost.

I like these a lot. They keep thread and bobbin together. The only thing is, they don’t fit a lot of my threads. The end you put in the thread is square. “Can’t put a square peg in a round hole.” I’ll use them with the few ones that fit. Thanks.

Worked great

They keep my bobbins with the correct thread spools. When you wind bobbins before starting a project, it's so much easier to keep the exact colors together with these pegs. No need to take up spool space or rack space with individual bobbins.
