Three Dudes Quilt Pattern from Man Sewing

I made this quilt a while back for my son and i had a lot of fun making this quilt ! I want to make a new one to replace but this time i wanted to get the pattern to follow instead of youtube video.

Due to selvages on the jelly roll I used, I was only able to get 2 cuts instead of three. Glad I bought 2 packages of each wanting to make this a larger size. Love the pattern & Ron & Jenny make it easy to follow. I just made the quilt from the video. Thank you!

Was as expected.

The instructions are clear and easy to follow. The jelly roll is a bit different than the YouTube video shows because it included a solid black strip as the darkest fabric and no light color for the center. I went to the fabric store and found a suitable light batik fabric and it worked fine. No reflection on the quilt instructions though, instructions from Missouri Quilt were great.

I found that using 1/4" seams, strips were less than 44" would not allow making 3 pairs of HST. So after making the strip sets, I went back to re-seaming using 3/8" seams. That fixed the problem and I was able to get the 3 sets from the strip sets. A word to the wise: Measure the length of the strips before you start making the strip set. My strips were only 42" including the selvedges. (Ron might want to make note of that in the instructions).
