Unstrung Heroes Appliqué Quilt Pattern from Man Sewing

I love this project and plan to make it for my nephew. However, I've not picked up fabric yet, and after looking at the pattern I'm a little intimidated to jump in!!

This was an excellent applique pattern. Easy to follow. I made a few changes to duplicate my grandsons two guitars in the quilt. The only thing I found that may have been improved on was the absence of registration marks or measurements for the placement of the hanger for the three guitars. Getting the angle as well as placement for the guitars was tricky. As you can see in my photo, the black guitar is not straight.

I made this last year for my son. The pattern was easy to follow although I changed the way I quilted it as I don't do free motion quilting. I sewed around each shape mainly by machine. It is not a quick pattern but so satisfying when done

I haven't made it yet but I have looked at the instructions and they make it look simple. I can't wait to get started.

This is a new process for me. I plan on taking my time completing this wall hanging. I have a friend who builds bass guitars as a hobby and thought he would enjoy my passion displaying his.
