"Thai Charm LLC was founded by Sansupa ""Sandy"" Saengsuk. Sandy discovered quilting after moving from a small town near Bangkok, Thailand, to Minnesota in 2011. While spending more time at home during the 2020 pandemic, she followed a creative curiosity that quickly turned into a lasting passion. What began as a personal interest soon became a way to bring her family together through shared traditions and new skills.

Sandy’s mom knew how to sew but had never made a quilt because quilts aren’t common in Thailand’s warm climate. Sandy learned to quilt so she could teach her mom, hoping it would give her a way to connect with Sandy’s mother-in-law, even though they didn’t speak the same language. It’s amazing how what starts as a simple hobby can build a bridge between people. Through quilting, they found a quiet, creative bond, a beautiful blend of family, culture, and care that honors Sandy’s Thai heritage and her new home and continues to inspire her work.

Sandy designs quilt patterns that are simple, vibrant, and approachable. They draw from the richness of her Thai roots and the comfort of Midwestern life. Through Thai Charm LLC, she shares these patterns to help others quilt with confidence. Her designs often feature bold color, hand stitching, and thoughtful details that make quilting feel welcoming, not overwhelming.

Today, Sandy balances her creative work with life as a mom, wife, and proud Australian Shepherd mama. Whether she’s stitching by hand with a cup of tea nearby or dreaming up her next design, she hopes to encourage others, one quilt, one stitch, and one heartfelt connection at a time."
