19th-century quilters did a lot of sewing in the dark, with nothing but firelight to guide their stitches. But there were advantages to those dark nights, too: Undimmed by artificial light pollution, the sky shone with thousands of glittering stars. The Midnight Bloom quilt features the sawtooth star—a block that would have been familiar to 1800s quilters—on a deep navy background. Made with Northcott’s Brilliant Colorworks Premium Solids, this quilt is as pretty as the star-filled heavens!
