Exclusively made for us by Steady Betty, the premier pressing board with two sides - 100% felted wool and Steady Betty foam on the other. Unlike the wool mats that allow heat and steam to penetrate the wool, there is minimal heat transfer through the board due to its' unique core construction. The foam side holds fabric so it will not move, stretch or distort. Both sides have perfect cushioning to create a professional finish to your project eliminating seam impressions and creating a clean finish.

Wooly Betty Board
The back side does hold the fabric nicely. I probably should have had a smaller size, but I can make use of it.
It’s something I may grow into appreciating? Too costly for me but it was my choice.
My quilting is for therapy and then I can give the projects away to people as surprises. That makes it a win-win! I like to do smaller projects to make use of all the good fabric. One project was to make table toppers or placemats or mug rugs for all the meals delivered one day by Meals on Wheels.
I just wish decent fabric would be not so expensive. I’m no pro, but it is fun to share what I do know to help others learn some of the “tricks of the trade”!
God is Blessing me with good health at age 82, and I want to use this Blessings to put a smile on another person’s day.
