Excellent deal

I bought this machine primarily because of its 13 pound weight. I was tired of hauling my 38 pound machine around. This one is so much easier to lift. It has all the basics (except a place to cut thread, which I think would not substantially affect the price of the machine). I think it would be a *great* beginner machine. Well worth the sale price I paid.

So glad I bought this!

I bought this for my granddaughter who is just learning to sew. I have an older model of the same machine. I am so glad I bought this for her. She had a blast learning how to use it and making a present for her sister. At 12, she is already quite the seamstress! The best part is all the memories she will make sewing with myself and her great-grandmother! Memories for a lifetime!

Baby Lock Zest

I live the ease of being able to take to quilting retreats or other quilt related projects. Only problem I have is thread keeps breaking. Since it’s new, didn’t think I should mes with tensions.

Gifted to grands and their mom

This was the first time I’d seen this machine. I am very happy with the Zest. No bells and whistles, just a reliable, easy to use machine for my beginner sewists. Grandchildren from 8-13 are really excited and learning fast. I’m excited to know that I’m able to give them a machine and hopefully teach them the joy of sewing that I learned when I was young. I’ve gifted them each with patterns, fabric, and the essentials in their own bins. I’m looking forward to more lessons and seeing their excitement when they successfully finished their first projects. Who knows? Next year I may be upgrading machines for at least some of my enthusiastic learners. But for now, the Zest is the best.

I got for my 8 year old granddaughter & she loves it. She learned on my Janome with all the bells & whistles so took her a few minutes to realize she had to cut thread. Lol
