AK and HI orders are shipped via Express, automatically. “Aloha and Halu!!”


Please remember, only our Standard shipping can deliver to P.O. boxes, so be sure to use a street address on your account profile if you want to use Ground or 2-Day Express.

Once your package is packed up in our warehouse, we then hand it off to FedEx who will ship it to you according to the delivery speed you choose.

We are honored to have our military customers shop with us. As a reminder, packages sent to overseas APO or DPO addresses are required to go through a military U.S. post office before leaving the country. Only our standard shipping can deliver to overseas APO or DPO addresses. Thank you for your service!

Shipping Delays

Worldwide and domestic deliveries have been significantly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. There have been many shortages in the number of drivers, delivery trucks, and warehouse workers needed to get your packages delivered on time. Like other carriers such as UPS, USPS, and DHL, FedEx has notified us that they are also experiencing delays that could impact delivery timing in certain areas of the U.S. Simply put, longer delivery times should be expected.

Please consider ordering early and allowing more time for deliveries to arrive. You may see some unexpected things like tracking number routes not being the most direct route to your home or multi-day delays at a FedEx hub due to a local labor shortage. We sincerely apologize for the delays and confusion around these issues. We, along with our partner FedEx, will continue to do everything we can to get your packages to you as quickly as we can. We ask for your patience and understanding with all of the workers who are working hard to get your order to you as quickly as possible.

Drop-Shipping Furniture

For our customers who purchase Arrow Sewing Furniture, it is only available for purchase in the 48 contiguous United States. This excludes Alaska and Hawaii. We are unable to ship furniture outside of the United States at this time.

Arrow Sewing Furniture is shipped directly from the manufacturer, not our warehouse. As a result, the manufacturer is responsible for shipping and we are unable to accept returns.

Canadian Rates

For our friends north of the border, Missouri Star currently pays all duties for all Canadian orders. It is a $20 (USD) flat rate shipping on all orders. Packages are shipped via FedEx's International Economy option and delivered within 2-7 days, depending on proximity to the U.S.

International Rates

We like to keep international shipping simple at Missouri Star. You can choose from three flat rates, depending on your order size:

  • Orders up to $100(USD)—Ship for $30(USD) flat
  • Orders from $100-$200(USD)—Ship for $40(USD) flat
  • Orders $200(USD) or more—Ship for $50(USD)! BEST VALUE

Rates are calculated based on order size before the cost of shipping is applied. For example, if Jane from Australia makes an order for $195(USD), an additional $40(USD) flat shipping rate will be added on during checkout, making her total order cost $235(USD). Makes sense, right?

You may have noticed that we used First Class shipping in the past, but we found that a lot of packages got lost or took too long to arrive and we didn’t like that one bit so, international packages are now shipped using FedEx International Economy. Generally, most of our international packages are now flying directly to your country and will be delivered in 3-10 business days. Customs & Duties

As an added benefit for our international customers, Missouri Star currently pays all duties for international orders. Occasionally, our international customers have had to pay extra local fees for customs, which vary widely from country to country. Since we have no control over potential extra charges levied by destination countries, we highly recommend that you research the policies specific to your country. Also, when customs clearance procedures are necessary, delays can be caused that will increase the time it takes to arrive.


All returns must be requested through our Returns Portal. Click HERE to request a return.

Our products may be returned within 30 days of original purchase, provided they are unopened and in like-new condition. If your return is approved, a prepaid label will be sent and $10 will be deducted from your refund to cover the cost of return shipping. And remember, because they are offered at such a deep discount, Daily Deal items are final sale. Thank you for understanding!

For customers who purchase Sewing Furniture, it has a different return policy. Because this furniture is shipped directly from the manufacturer, we are sorry to say that returns are not accepted for Sewing Furniture.

Damaged Goods

Even though most of our products are not susceptible to damage during the shipping process, if you receive damaged items, we will replace them. Just process your return through our returns portal and you’ll get a return label to send it back. An identical (when available) replacement item will be sent to you at no additional cost. Sometimes, especially with fabric, an item may no longer be available, in which case we will do our best to replace it with a similar item.

Request a Return

You can request a return in our Returns Portal. If your item is eligible for return, you will receive your prepaid return label. All returns must be processed through our portal. If you return your order without going through the portal, you risk losing your refund.
