Buyer Be Aware
Is this cuddle fabric cute? Yes. Does it feel incredible? Yes, it does. However, be aware when the description of this product says 10 mm cuddle, that shaggy material will pull through when you quilt it. It’s the nature of this style of fabric. It won’t be noticeable if the top closely matches the cuddle backing, but if there is contrast and the back pulls through to the top, it will not look amazing. I made a top with cow faces in gray, off white, pink, and black. This cuddle coordinates beautifully, but when the black pulls through, it looks messy—and that is not what I wanted and it makes me sad. I do not think I’ll choose cuddle for a quilt backing in the future because of this issue. If I were using this fabric for making pillows, I’d give it 5 out of 5 stars, but if you are using this for a quilt back, be aware problems of the back pulling up through the top will occur.
