Holiday flannels

Bought this over a year ago, but couldn’t decide best pattern to use as I didn’t want it to be just a holiday quilt. The colors match my living room furniture perfectly, so I wanted to leave it out for the fall and winter months when it’s needed. I went with the Winter Star quilt based on Jenny’s tutorial on the website. It turned out beautifully! I love the flannel as it’s great to snuggle up the couch on those chilly nights.

Beautiful Fabric

I love the Woolies Flannel, I started using it for my quilt soon after it arrived, I used your tutorial and it was done in no time at all. It will be a Christmas Gift. We had three grand kids get married in 2023 and so they will each receive one of Grandmas Quilts. It will be quilted and bound when I return home for Christmas. No pressure RIGHT.

These are the best. I enjoyed sewing them to make a rag quilt. I bought two packs and made one red and one green. It is a great weight.

Beautiful and warm!

I made a disappearing hourglass quilt with this. It made a beautiful quilt but with all the seams in this pattern, cotton or batiks would have been better. I loved the pattern and the fabric so decided to go ahead and use it.

Woolies flannel!!!!

There are NO negatives when using Woolies Flannel. It is the BEST flannel!! I had always thought flannel would not be the best fabric to use in quilts as it would shrink, be scratchy and be difficult to work with. Not so with Woolies Flannel! Have made four quilts so far with more on the way. Try it… you WILL NOT be disappointed.

Beautiful Fabric!

So happy I ordered this. This is the softest, most cuddly flannel fabric I have ever used. The colors are not the bright red and green of Christmas rather, a country, comfortable, sit by the fire color that will take you into Christmas and right through winter. It was not difficult to work with although I would caution measuring so as to know whether to use the outer or inner point of the zigzagged edge in order to achieve a true quarter inch seam. This was my jump start to Christmas. I made it because I only have one Christmast quilt so far. Most of the quilts I make are given away to family and friends so I was a bit selfish with the Holiday flannels. I'll probably use it way before Christmas since I tend to rotate my quilt usage.
