I sew quilts for myself, and I make quilts to sell. The bags allow me to store them in pristine condition. I would love a single quilt bag that I could put any quilt I give as a gift in or enclose any quilt I sell as an extra gift! I love to quilt and want to make it as perfect as possible whether it’s for someone I know and love, or a total stranger. The bag would just be that extra touch that says this quilt was made with care, for you.

quilt storage bag

I am already filling it with my different size Pre-cuts. I love that I can see in it and know where things are. I was extremely blessed to get it on sale. Maybe one day I will have charm packs in one, jelly rolls in one, layer cakes in one, and fat quarters in another one. Keep those sales coming and I might get organized, yet!!!!

I'm using it for storage making. I usually give my quilts to my children or my grandchildren, but I like to keep them clean and out of sight and keep for good storage. I do love the window so I can see which quilt is inside.

Perfect for quilt storage

I'm using it for storing all my quilts in labeled bags. I just needed a few more, 25-30. I use these type bags to store my precious quilts.

Not just a quilt bag!

This is where I store all my fabric, thread, and pattern for my next project. On the outside I use painters tape to designate the recipients name. At the completion, they get the storage bag with a quilt inside ❤️

Quilt storage bag

I'm thinking about organizing my linen closet in January. Lots to get rid of(downsizing), move around and give away. I've received quilts from older friends that have downsized. These quilts mean everything to me as my Grandmother made these quilts as wedding gifts for all these people 70+ years ago. A true treasure to me. So now that I'm getting to the age of downsizing, I'm getting ready to pass these on to my girls and grandchildren. The quilt storage bags are on my radar for splitting up my...

Ohio stars

I have a bag and half of the 108 squares sewn. I have given many quilts away as many quilters do. My friend Sharon ( friend of 45 years ) asked if I had any quilts. I was embarrassed to admit nary a one. So…. King bed size quilt is coming along. The pieces are in the bag. Happy quilting everyone.
