I'm using it for hand embroidery for a quilt with angel squares. It has perfect and bright colors. It is easy to thread compared to floss.

I have purchased just about all of the embroidery kits in this series on behalf of a friend, and a few have been for me. We’ve both enjoyed stitching them. The service was fast. The stick on wash away designs allow us to pick our own fabrics. The stick on does not always stick, so we either pin or hand thread baste them into place. The little extra prep is okay. I do recommend that once opened, to store stick ons in a freezer weight sealable baggy. Stitching looks great.

Vintage pattern book

This was a delight! I love vintage work, and it was great fun to see patterns that included the days of a "woman's work week." I actually wrote an essay about not being able to remember which work was assigned to which day! I think I'm going to find pieces of some of these patterns very useful in some ideas I have in mind.
