I loved this project!

I loved this project! The fabrics are soooo soft and cute. Everyone I show it to falls in love with it. Yes, the fabrics do shed as you cut them but the instructions give you a method of which to prevent any further shedding after it is cut, so I did not find the shedding a problem. I did alter the batting instructions though, the instructions call for spray batting, I used regular batting and just did a bit more quilting… I quilted around the outline of the animals to give the center a bit...

Quilt

This soft fabric is so nice but can be a challenge to sew with. I modified the quilt making small changes and it is turning out very nice. I am very grateful that Missouri quilt store sent my kits so quickly. Thank you so much.

Fabric frays

Although this is a really cute baby quilt, I would not recommend buying it. I also would never buy this type of quilt kit with this type of fabric again. Cutting the fabric made a terrible mess. I have only cut it I haven’t sewed it yet. Hopefully it won’t be as bad as the cutting. Very disappointed!
