Memorialized my years as an English teacher

I watched the instructional video on line as well as read them. The construction was easy and I embroidered titles of books I taught on the spines. The final product is a beautiful wall hanging that honors my working life.

So many books, so little time

The pattern was easy to follow and allows for flexibility in your design. I added a few things that weren't on this pattern, but worked out great! The only thing to watch out for is the tilted books. Ifyour background is textured or directional, you need to adjust the slant of it so it matched the rest of the background.

While a bit tedious, this quilt was fun to work on. The appliqués can be changed up based upon your preference. This quilt will go to our grandson upon his graduation.
