Great pattern for travel bags

This pattern is easy to follow, and the boxed corners are easy to adjust for your sizing needs. Use fusible vinyl if you want the lining to be easier to clean up small spills. This method makes the zippers very easy to install. You may wish to consider foam for a fuller, sturdier bag, but the heavy fleece interfacing will hold up well for most packing needs. The lining in the picture is heavy-weight fusible fleece, and I am using it for travel dry goods.

Needs Handles

The finished look is really nice but hard to zip and unzip. I added a handle at one end and a tab at the other end of the zipper so there'd be something to hang onto when pulling on the zipper. Made several for a craft fair and buyers didn't know how they'd use them. So next show I will have one "packed" and on display.

Perfect pattern for my zips

I love the fancy zips that were your deal of the day, and I needed a pattern to go with the zips! I have a pile of fabric, books, notions, and patterns that I bought at your shops. I probably won't dig into that pile until 2027. I have several ongoing projects to complete first.

Great pattern for a great project

I have been following Missy's tutorial to make the totes. They are a big hit. One thing I would mention - the Bosal In-R-Form Plus says that it can be washed and dried as long as NO heat is used. I'm guessing that is because it is fusible on both sides. To make it able to be washed and dried at any temperature, I quilted the fabric sandwich after fusing the Bosal Foam stabilizer to it so that even if the material is no longer fused after being exposed to heat in the dryer, the tote will still...
