Had fun learning how to use the Burst Block Template after watching the Youtube tutorial numerous times for the tips on placement of the ruler for consistency of the bursts in the blocks. Tutorial is a huge help since instructions were a bit confusing for me. The quilt went together quickly and was fun to make! Looking forward to using the Burst Block Template in making the Horizon Quilt, a simpler block.

Stunning design

Makes a unique pattern. I used one black/white layer cake. Once understood, cutting went well. I intend to do it again with a different color way.

I'm having a hard time getting a 10 x 10 square somehow I'm doing something wrong have to keep adding fabric to the bottom to make it 10 by 10

It was easy to work with especially for me because I am not a fan of using templates. I followed Jenny’s instructions for the radiance pattern. The quilt is not done yet but 80 blocks are made.

Great pattern

I love the pattern and how it’s coming along, but only 4 stars because the directions were really confusing. I watched the video a number of times and I still couldn’t get a 9.5” square. I ended up cutting them all to 8” squares and they were perfect. So I just needed more for my quilt and I wasted more fabric, but they look great.

Great Tool

This is easy once you get the hang of it. I had to refer to the UTube video several times to make sure i was doing it correctly. My first block did not come out correct, but that was my fault. I did not use it for the quilt i had purchased it for, but I am going to use it for my next quilt. Love you Jenny Doan and Rob Appell !!! LT
