Good and meh

This was suggested to me from a friend as a great square for squaring up granny square blocks in a project I'm starting, because of the diamond lines in the center. I laid it on the block only to discover the diamond doesn't line up with the granny square, because the ruler's diamond doesn't have the 1/4" seam allowance on the sides. So, it's more difficult to square up using that. I ended up going with another brand for squaring. It does make me wonder what use the diamond lines have in this...

Best rulers for quilting projects

This is an excellent product, the best I have used. It is just the right thickness, easy to see through, and solid. I believe these rulers, in all of the square shapes, are the very best. I will eventually own all of the yellow Missouri Star Square Rulers for my quilting projects.
