Love the Octagon templates!

After watching the Triple Play video on YouTube, I made my first-ever quilt for my daughter's wedding using the small octagonvideo. Following Misty's creation, Jenny's advice to turn the edges under and using Natalie's technique of making matching octagons then turning them outside right, I succeeded. I can't wait to try my hand at the quilts made by Jenny and Natalie next. And because I can make them at my leisure, it should be a lot of fun.

Wonderful Just what I needed

I love my MSQ templates! Unfortunately, all I can do right now is just look at them, as I broke my ankle at the beginning of the year (cleaning the chicken coop - I wish I had a more glamorous story). I am very excited about using the Octagon template in my next quilt. In the meantime, I just sit with my foot elevated and watch MSQ tutorials!!

when I saw Jenny's tutorial for Amy Barrickman's lovely sewing case pattern --- I had to buy them. So happy I have them now.

Octagon Heaven

These templates are so much nicer than the cardboard ones that I created on my own.
