Use this pattern frequently!

Easy quick project with lots of possibilities. I love to get 3 yard packs of 108" flannel and quarter it to use as outer piece to make slightly larger toddler blanket. All I've given as gifts were well received, both in baby size and my upgrade to toddler size. Sometimes on larger size I insert a narrow different color border on front piece for extra pop of color or to get right size.

Sweet blanket

I love making this quick little blanket. The only aspect I need the pattern to help in more detail is how to get a perfect square larger than your cutting mat. If either layer is slightly off square it gets much harder. Once I worked through this issue, sewing these is a blast. I plan to make a stack of these to donate to a local charity.
