Missouri Star Favorite Things, Embroidered Charms Kit by Missouri Star Quilt Co.

This kit totally lived up to my high expectations. Really cute designs, everything you need except for fabric, all prettily packaged. The embroidery is straightforward and very relaxing to do, yet very effective and charming. The little templates wash away completely leaving the stitching. Very addictive.

I am loving this kit I received yesterday. I have in mind to use some of it to teach my granddaughter how to embroider. I have only stitched the lemon so far. Thank you for creating such a fun and simple kit with a wide range of possibilities. I am excited to see what my granddaughter and I create with it!

Nice organization of the parts and pieces. Only disappointment is the instructions tell you to refer to the stitch cards for instruction, however there are NO cards included. There is no “stitch guide” telling you what stitch to use for each line. You just have a color chart and you choose your own stitch.

This is such a great kit. The peel and stick are great for a beginner and will be such a treasure in the quilt. Took on an airplane and it was so convenient. I hope the book or the peel and stick will be offered separately some day so I can make more!

This is a great idea! The line drawings make it easy for a beginner and Misty’s Embroidery 101 tutorials are clear and easy to learn from. The color master list uses the thread colors in the kit. The outline stitch is simple for the beginner but allows for the experienced artist to use more embellishments if they want. I loved the idea of the thread organizer. Maybe it’s me, but the execution of pulling the fully loaded balls of thread through the grommets is not always a smooth process. The 5 inch hoops are very travel friendly however they do take a little more finesse to handle. Maybe it’s my not so small hands. I would suggest the novice hand embroider start with a larger 10 inch hoop size and ease into the smaller 5 inch hoop as to reduce frustration. The pattern is highly recommended. Overall, an...

This kit was a great value, I especially love the plastic thread holder that keeps your threads tidy, the hole for each skein is wonderful. Wish it had a zipper around the case so I could carry other projects as well.

Arrived very quickly. I agree with others putting cottons on their side facilitates easier movement unraveling thread, holder with grommets fantastic idea. The scissors are far superior to scissors in other MSQC embroidery kits I’ve had . The hoop had quite a rough edge requiring sanding , fine after that. The embroidery motifs don’t always adhere to fabric and if can’t be secured in hoop a pin helped. Overall I’m really pleased with kit and case.

I bought one for myself and two more for my daughter and granddaughter. It’s a great way to keep all embroidery materials together.

I love the simplicity of the designs in this kit. I have worked Ingrid’s Wldflowers and am working on the Christmas kit, but this kit is so much simpler for fast embroidery and will make a great keepsake quilt or baby quilt.
