    Half Hex Boats

    Terribly confusing instructions for a beginner quilter. Bought this because my daughter, a a newby sewer, wanted to make a quilt for a friend's baby recently diagnosed with cancer. I am an experienced sewer and quilter. My daughter wanted to make this by herself with minimal help from me. I had to pretty much rewrite the instructions for her and make a sample block so that she could make it. Quilt's not completed yet. I believe she will be happy with the experience (with my assistance) and the baby and his mom will find comfort.in it.
