This fabric should definitely be washed before using. The sizing used in making the fabric gives it a terrible hand. It doesn't even feel like quilting cotton. Once I machine washed and dried it, the fabric is fine.

Loved the bright color but too loosely woven which caused bearding when quilted. The hand was also a little rough
I used this as a border on my Eye spy panel quilt.
