I enjoyed making this little boxed tote. I do have some suggestions. The raw edges inside the box should be bound and there should be instructions on making small pull tabs for zipping and unzipping. The box is cute.

Cute - Not practical

The pattern had a measuring flaw on the corners that made a square. I tried a second prototype and adjusted the corner seams to give me the rectangle. I also added a pull tab to assist in zipping it closed. I so wanted to love this and make several as gifts but the bag fails - it doesn’t hold it’s shape and is tough to access what is inside.

Very Nice

The pattern was easy to follow and put together. The bag is nice and will make a nice gift. When I got it finished, I pressed it and admired it. What would have made it better was the addition of a tab under the zipper to grab onto when unzipping. I made myself a note to add this next time. Would have given this fun pattern 4 1/2 stars if I could have.
