This is fun to make and a convenient size for taking sewing supplies to class or just to keep them handy. An easy way to put in a zipper with beautiful results.

Needs Handles

The finished look is really nice but hard to zip and unzip. I added a handle at one end and a tab at the other end of the zipper so there'd be something to hang onto when pulling on the zipper. Made several for a craft fair and buyers didn't know how they'd use them. So next show I will have one "packed" and on display.

Great pattern for a great project

I have been following Missy's tutorial to make the totes. They are a big hit. One thing I would mention - the Bosal In-R-Form Plus says that it can be washed and dried as long as NO heat is used. I'm guessing that is because it is fusible on both sides. To make it able to be washed and dried at any temperature, I quilted the fabric sandwich after fusing the Bosal Foam stabilizer to it so that even if the material is no longer fused after being exposed to heat in the dryer, the tote will still...

What a note tote to make for gifts. You can change the size of the corner box to make it narrower or wider. I used 1.5 inches the 2nd time and like the shape.
