I enjoy reading the articles and love the patterns. I flip to the back and see what's included and then eventually start from page 1. I enjoy the tutorials too, and I think these will eventually be passed along to my granddaughters. Block has become my go-to quilt magazine. I am using The Beginner's Star pattern from Vol. 13 Issue 3, page 23, to work up my fabric remnants, and when I have enough, they will become a patchwork quilt of many colors. Thank you!

I love the clearly written instructions, the focus on designers, and insights to Missouri Star Quilt Company. I mark blocks or patterns with a sticky note and usually do so with a specific loved one in mind. The quality photographs are a plus too. I used the magazine for inspiration—I had never done appliqué on a quilt before, but it turned out that I enjoyed it. My niece loved this quilt for her sweet baby boy, and they are elephants.
